Solving Equations with Rational Coefficients (linear) 7th Grade Math Ch 3



To solve an equation means to get the letter by itself on one side of the equal sign. To move any coefficient to the other side (usually your last step in solving an equation), you ALWAYS divide both sides by that coefficient (no matter what even if it’s a fraction or a decimal).
