Best Science Degrees and Majors
So this is a video that was a long time in the making…
Science is a passion of mine and I wanted to go over some of the strengths and weaknesses of the different science degrees

There is a misconception that any science degree is going to lead to a high paying job because science is the S in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
Sadly, this isn’t true…
There are many science majors where if you graduate with a 4 year bachelor level degree, you’ll have a really hard time finding a job that’s related to your degree
Many people that graduate with science degrees find themselves in a situation where they have to either go back to school to get a graduate level degree or they have to complete switch their life path and go into an unrelated job just to pay the bills
I’m aware of this from personal experience, in undergrad I took many of the same classes as people going for different degrees and I’ve seen how it’s panned out for them
A friend majored in biology and she couldn’t find a job after 4 years even though she was close to being a 4.0 student
She ended up going back to school to get her doctorate and has now racked up well over 6 figures in student loans
I’m not saying that this is a bad thing, it might end up turning out well for her in the end
But it DEFINITELY wasn’t anything like she had planned in the beginning
The same can be said for many of the science degrees out there as well
For this video I chose some of the most common science degrees and I go over them
I’m not saying you can’t succeed with a biology degree at all, if that’s your passion you should still go for it
What I’m saying is that the perception out there isn’t accurate and it’s better to know what you’re getting yourself into
That way you can plan accordingly and make good decisions
