Shizuoka (Japan), Jan 19 (ANI): Telangana business delegation led by Minister for Information & Technology KT Rama Rao met investors and representatives of local administration in Japan’s Shizuoka on Day two of his visit. Rao met Chairman of Suzuki Motor Corporation Osamu Suzuki. In the meeting, Rao talked about Telangana government’s progressive industrial policies. He also highlighted various opportunities for the state investors. The team also visited the Suzuki Museum at Hamamatsu in Shizuoka. Later, Rao also met Governor of Shizuoka, Kawakatsu Heita and discussed mutual cooperation between the two potential states. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Rao invited the Governor of Shizuoka to visit Telangana to explore synergies. In one of the meetings with representatives of Shizuoka bank, Rao discussed the opportunities for banking and financial sector in Telangana. He highlighted that Telangana has several names in various sectors like Banking, Financial services and Insurance (BFSI) and has the requisite talent pool readily available. The delegation also met Yoshitsugu Matsushita of Stanley Electric Cooperative. Ltd, Shigeru Isobe of Sakurai Ltd and representatives of ASTI Corporation.
