ICCO Cooperation is a member of two consortiums in Indonesia (SMARTseeds) and Vietnam (GREENcoffee) that will implement a financially sustainable information service that supports 100,000 vegetable (specifically tomato, chili, cucumber) farmers & 100,000 coffee farmers, respectively.
These services will help farmers increase their production, income and food security and to reduce their inputs of water, fertilizer and pesticides. The services target specific information on weather, rain and humidity forecasts, daily coffee prices and price forecasts, pests and diseases via SMS services.
