Naval History | Vice Adm. James Stockdale: My 10-Year Campaign in Vietnam



In November of 1997, Vice Adm. James Bond Stockdale visited the Command Leadership School in Newport, R.I., for two days to talk to officers attending the school. During his two-day visit he participated in a series of talks in which he discussed his own personal experiences in Vietnam, as well as the qualities and strategies of good leadership.
