On February 22, 1964, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr step off their plane in London and are greeted by thousands of screaming fans. The Beatles were returning home form their first ever American tour. Music fans around London gathered hours beforehand to cheer on their beloved music stars. People within the crowd mobbed the fences, while some women faked fainting in hopes of getting closer to The Beatles. Welcome to the start of Beatlemania.
