Communication Models

Le’s look at three Communication Models: Transmission Model (0:22), Transactional (3:26), and Constitutive (8:02).

The Transmission Model was first explained by Shannon and Weaver (1948 & 1949). The Transactional Model is partly from Paul Watzlawick (1967) and his colleagues as well as from Dean Barnlund (1970). The Constitutive Model was coherently explained by Robert Craig (1999).
