Capital Gazette Shooter Had Troubled History With Newspaper

According to Business Insider, a Maryland man who attacked a newsroom had a troubled history.
Jarrod Ramos is in custody after allegedly killing five people at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis.
Charging documents stated he faces five counts of first-degree murder, but his connection with the newspaper began years ago.
The 38-year-old reportedly harassed a woman online back in 2011 for about a year.
He was charged with criminal harassment in 2011 for contacting his former high school classmate through social media and email.
The Capital Gazette wrote a story on Ramos’s case, which led him to file a defamation suit against the paper, which was dismissed in 2012.
