This is a great introduction to the physics of acceleration. In this video acceleration is explained and the student is introduced to the variables associated with acceleration calculations.

Here is a simpler equation A=(V-U)÷T
V= Final velocity (m/s)
U= Initial Velocity (m/s)
T= Time (s)
A= Acceleration

This video was also good but I felt the equation was a bit more complicated then it should have.

But isn't velocity supposed to account for direction; isn't it a vector? How is doing the change in the rate (Final-Initial)/(Time) returning a vector quantity instead of a scalar?

nice vid very clear, maybe say that the car could be already moving which is why we would need to do the subtraction sum, sorry maybe I'm misunderstanding it a bit. thanx tho like I said very clear and to the point.

why is mass defined as resistance to acceleration, not resistance to speed of velocity?
